Beige Button-Down Sweater Vest: An Easy Add-On to Winter Whites

This was a last-minute outfit I threw together and stashed into my bag without even trying it on. I often fret and overthink way too much, so this was super rare for me. I’m glad it worked because it ended up being my birthday outfit!

I love vests because they are slightly masculine and remind me of my school uniform days, so I was low-key delighted they’ve made a major comeback in A/W 2020. I love that the button-down front lets you wear it open atop a collared blouse, while the asymmetric pockets keeps things casual. They make a great layering piece over tees and shirts for fickle spring weather, though higher-neck ones would work great alone with jeans too.

Yay! One year older, one year wiser, one year cheekier.
