Norah Sue Cashmere Sweater: A Pantone Colour of the Year Outfit

4 months into 2021… I’m finally out with an outfit inspired by Pantone’s Colour of the Year 2021! Ultimate Grey is a concrete slab; Illuminating a soft warm yellow, like that of just-ripe bananas or melty butter. In Pantone’s words it’s “a marriage of colour conveying a message of strength and hopefulness that is both enduring and uplifting”, you can check out the original story here.

2020’s major influence on my wardrobe was I stopped buying office attire, given that I’m lucky enough to have the liberty to work from home every single day of the week. Even on days when I pop in to office, we’re doing casual wear and I really don’t need to invest in the likes of formal dresses anymore.

I don’t wear yellow often, even when I do it’s often a marigold or mustard colour (I like in-between colours). So it was refreshing to find a yellow sweater tucked away in my mom’s wardrobe. Cashmere keeps the heat at bay in stuffy Hong Kong weather.

Easter egg: Here’s our furry friend who wanted to go out but immediately scurried away when he found out he wasn’t alone.
