It’s been years since I last had a bohemian nail design, but there’s something incredibly uplifting about a colour palette of pale yellow, blue and white that I couldn’t resist for summer.

The trickiest part to getting bohemian nails right is finding the balance between variety and cohesion. Ideally, you want all ten nails to carry a different design but still be similar in size and layout. This particular design is a nail sticker with a few additional details hand-drawn in so I could spare myself from sitting down for two additional hours. There are so many nail stickers online nowadays; the hard part was picking which one to settle with.

One single sticker sheet already includes different shapes and sizes, so you can mix and match them to fit your nail shape. Of course, you can let your manicurist call the shots, but to me, that’s where all the fun is. I recommend sticking to the colour scheme of your sticker, picking base colours that are either paler or more muted to make the design pop.

I slid on my favourite moonstone rings, and we’re ready for another daydreaming sesh of the Amalfi coast without stepping foot out of the door.
