Matching Athleisure Sets I’m Eyeing from Alo Yoga

As the holiday (and sale) season rolls around, it’s a good moment to focus on refreshing your wardrobe with intentional purchases that multi-task throughout your routine.

Athleisure has become one of my favourite categories to invest in because I get way more wear out of them than the average piece. And you can’t go wrong with Alo Yoga’s matching sets that offer a stylish blend of comfort and versatility. With sleek designs in high-quality fabrics, these sets are not just about looks—they're about feeling good in your own skin, whether heading to the gym or just lounging at home.

They do offer a dizzying amount of co-ords, but I’ve picked out my favourites for the cooler season that span from classic workout wear to cosy pieces you will want to snuggle up to and standout styles that go from day to night effortlessly.

Alo Yoga retails at a higher price than most athleisure brands, so there’s no better time than the sale season to treat yourself to a set you’ve been eyeing. Currently, they’re doing a site-wide sale at 30% off, with only a few items like their cashmere excluded. They also do seasonal colour drops that are limited runs and might not come back in stock, so my advice is if there’s something you want, don’t sit on it.

While I found the physical stock to be generally terrible at their Asian stores, their sizing fits consistently well; it’s much easier to order online as long as you try on key pieces and get a good feel for their fit.

For reference, I’m 5’6” and 50kg, and pieces at Alo Yoga fit me true to size in a small.

Alo Yoga Singles Day sale: 30% off sitewide and up to 60% off sale

1 | Airlift Workout

Let’s start with some classic yoga gear.

Of the three legging fabrics Alo Yoga offers, Airlift is my favourite for its sculpting properties and subtle sheen. I prefer racerback bras in my training gear because I like the support and extra security, and the 7/8 leggings are the perfect length for 5’6” me (even though I have more length in my legs than midriff).

They’ve just dropped some pieces in the new colourway Celestial Blue, which is so dreamy and reminiscent of icy mountain peaks for ski season. And it comes in a matching headband.

2 | Signature Accolade

Everyone needs a good sweatsuit set in their wardrobe that looks equally put-together and comfy.

Alo Yoga’s signature Accolade line is smooth on the outside and fleecy on the inside for that perfect cocooning feel. I’ve been gravitating towards wide-leg sweatpants since last season because they give a slightly elevated look to loungewear, and I love that there’s a matching crewneck to go with it.

You can size up or down depending on how slouchy you want your fit to look, or just roll down your waistband for that effortless, undone look. All pieces are available in best-selling classics like black and heather grey.

3 | Fuzzy Cable Knit

Alo Yoga’s cable knit drop just screams Swiss chalet to me.

The super-soft fabric hugs your skin perfectly, and it has that chunky silhouette in a roomy, relaxed fit, complete with my favourite details like a cropped length juxtaposed against a turtleneck and high-waist, drawstring waistbands.

Here’s to looking cute when you cosy up in the armchair with a piping-hot mug of cocoa.

4 | Airbrush Tenniscore

Tenniscore is still on trend, though it’s shifted towards a less-in-your-face direction away from polo tops and pleated skirts.

Alo Yoga’s Airbrush fabric comes into play for workouts where you want cotton-like breathability over compression. The contrast piping gives a touch of ‘90s nostalgia, while the square neckline keeps things sleek and transitions oh-so-easily from day to night. The skirt comes with built-in briefs, too, so it’s just as functional as it is pretty.

5 | Casually Tailored Pinstripe

Remember when striped boxer shorts were all the rage a few seasons ago? Well, Alo Yoga has upgraded the style with a complete preppy look.

The pinstriped set is designed to look oversized and slightly boxy with just the right balance of structure and ease, so everything looks more casually tailored than dated. They look equally chic when worn as separates, and the lightweight shirt is great for layering over a bralette. You just can’t go wrong with a classic neutral pinstripe.
