Green Topstitched Playsuit: Blending into Lush Vegetation at the Arca

Yes, we’re well into November and green is still having a moment in my wardrobe. A while ago we visited the Arca, the boutique hotel featuring lush outdoor spaces, complemented by a palette of soothing colours. It was still pretty hot in Hong Kong, so I veered towards this playsuit in a muted green. Playsuits, jumpsuits, rompers. Whatever we prefer to call them. But in case anyone’s forgotten, they’re my absolute go-to pieces in hot weather.

I love that this one is a button-down with a proper collar. Details like roll-tab sleeves and topstitching give a utility edge, while wide sleeves keep the silhouette relaxed and breezy. It even features two large front pockets — I could just about wiggle my Kindle down if I was desperate to free my hands! Because it’s made of cotton linen, the back and seat areas do crease more easily than usual.

Here I’ve paired the playsuit with a green satchel from Tory Burch for a tonal look. This mini size is perfect for fun, casual days out and the saturated hue adds a focal point to the outfit.
