Hopping on the Bandwagon of Logo Belts

Not to mention there are so many gorgeous designer belts I’ve had my sights on for so long – I love the CELINE Triomphe belt, Dior 30 Montaigne belt, Bottega Veneta Triangle belt and the Hermès Kelly belt (for some reason, I just don’t feel the Gucci GG belt). So knowing that I felt massively on the fence about belts, I wasn’t keen on jumping in with a designer piece I might regret later.

And then I found this cute one from Tory! I love that there’s a bit of texture to mix things up and add visual interest to a capsule wardrobe outfit. Bonus that the antique brass hardware details goes perfectly with the Chanel Boy’s antique gold too. In hindsight, I think the 1” would have been a more versatile introductory piece. The wider width works well with mom jeans and straight-leg pants though, so I’m not complaining. I’m a true 25”, and the XS fits nicely with belt holes to spare on either side (there are 7 holes total). That gives me leeway to wear mid-waisted pants, or belt in blazers or skirts with a higher waistline.

I don’t think Tory Burch sells the Twisted Logo Belt anymore, but they have many other wallet-friendly alternatives to pick from, like the Kira belt with a clean silhouette! Or if you’re looking for more wear out of your purchase, the Miller is also a great option as it’s reversible in classic staple colours like black/tan/ivory. They also offer seasonal variations with different jacquard textures, monograms and hardware embellishments.

How are we feeling about belts this year, are they here to stay? With cooler seasons in sight, I feel like you really can’t go wrong with a classic black and gold belt. I’d love to hear your thoughts!
