Spring Abstract Nails: Inspired by Children’s Stories
Hope it’s been a good Easter break for everyone! I’m actually close to taking off this set of nails already but I wanted to save it for Easter.
When I saw first this sweater in Zara stores, it reminded me of Jemima Puddle-Duck and all of Peter Rabbit’s friends. It’s super thick and Hong Kong has officially moved into hot sticky weather, but after eyeing it for several months I caved. The pastels are beautiful — I can’t get enough of this ice blue and cornflower blue. They inspire so many designs perfect for spring and helped set the tone for my nails.
I had initially wanted speckled egg nails for a bit of Easter flair but that particular polish wasn’t available, so I opted for a fun design resembling Smarties chocolate instead (fave childhood candy alert). I know last month I said I was over matte nails… there’s just something about the texture that seems right for abstract nails.

So… What Do You Think?
Did you like the abstract patterns? Or maybe you’re not the biggest fan of pastel colours.
Either way, let me know in the comments below, I’d love to hear what you have in mind!
If you’re located in Hong Kong and are looking for someone who can draw fairly quickly or offer home service, I can also share my manicurist’s details upon request.
