An Ode to the Holiday Season with Aesop’s Resonant Gestures Collection
We are officially less than a month away from Christmas…

Over the years, I’ve found that Aesop’s gift kits, which often feature pocket-sized bestsellers and complementary product combinations, are a crowd-pleaser for all occasions, especially housewarming parties.
This holiday season, Aesop has launched the Resonant Gestures collection, inspired by the magnetic qualities of music and the joyful vibrations passed from musician to listener. Each of the five gift kits is accompanied by a bespoke track from Kiala Ogawa, a Paris-based musician focused on creating different textures through acoustic and electronic sounds. “This song is split into two parts. The first is a form of meditation, inviting a moment of reflection and reconnection with the body and mind. The second piece is more of a sacred moment when we finally meet and appreciate the beautiful things that are around us, including our loved ones. I wanted to add in backing vocals to bring an added layer of warmth in honour of this.”

The Gift Kit
The Heartful Harmonies set was designed to create more symphonious surroundings and comes with a full-sized hand wash and hand balm duet, plus a miniature room spray to spice up your home over the holiday season. All the contents are packaged in 100% recycled cardboard with an intricate soundwave pattern inspired by harmonies.
Reverence Aromatique Hand Wash | This woody and earthy blend takes Aesop’s ritualistic hand washes to the next level. It’s a carefully balanced decadence you can feel, with the finely-milled pumice designed to exfoliate and remove odours from the kitchen while keeping it gentle enough for everyday use.
Reverence Aromatique Hand Balm | The hydrating half of the hand wash carries the same scent notes of bergamot rind, vetiver root and petitgrain. Although heavier in texture, the balm dissolves into the skin, and emollient ingredients work their magic on softening and hydrating – sans the greasiness.
Istros Aromatique Room Spray | My favourite room spray is filled with notes of pink pepper and tobacco that give it a spicy kick, and the lavender imparts a more mellow and floral touch. It’s a rich, rousing – but cosy – fragrance that brings to mind the aromas of a spice bazaar.
